Lifelong local Hannah Lynne Zick’s passion for music, dance, and art comes to life at Chaval Christian Dance Company.

As a child, Hannah always proclaimed a dream to buy an old building in Marquette and make it a haven for the arts that is reverent in the Lord. Her unwavering faith in God has always been the motivation for expressions in lyrical composition, choreography, and the various mediums of art illustration.

From the early age of five, faith and music have been the center of her world and the guiding principles for her life. Studying at Forerunner Music Academy in Kansas City, MO blessed her with the opportunity to major in a variety of the arts, including Keys, worship leadership, vocal, and violin education.

Through the years, Hannah’s desire to open a welcoming and God honoring dance studio was nurtured as she studied under several accomplished and celebrated dancers and musicians, culminating during the challenges of Covid in 2020. As the studio family grew, it was apparent that there is a hunger for a God-Centered Studio in Marquette.

Today, Hannah’s dream has culminated into a studio home location in the heart of downtown Marquette on Historical Washington St.

Leaving a mark on the hearts and minds of our community in both the spiritual and artistic mediums is a dream come true and we can’t wait to welcome you!
